    • SCI projects are excellent opportunities for you to engage with people & communities around the world in meaningful ways, to gain experience in the international arena, & obtain a fresh perspective on world issues.
Mid and Long Term Volunteering (over a month – 12 months)    

Mid term volunteers stay in a project for 31 days to 6 months and Long term volunteers stay in a project for six to twelve months. This commitment enables sustained work for peace, both on a concrete level for the branches, partners and hosting projects and on a personal level for the volunteer and the members of the community.

Short Term Volunteering (2-4 weeks)

Short term projects are also called ´workcamps´. A workcamp, in short, is a unique form of volunteering, bringing together people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds to live and work together with local communities for a period of two to six weeks.
