SCI USA is part of a worldwide network of more than 40 Service Civil International (SCI) branches dedicated to building peace through voluntary service. Based in the United States, we coordinate short-, mid-, and long-term volunteer projects open to people of all nationalities, ages, and backgrounds.
Also known as SCI IVS USA (International Voluntary Service USA), we connect communities in the U.S. and around the world through community-based social, environmental, and humanitarian projects. By bringing people together across cultures, SCI USA promotes peace, intercultural understanding, non-violence, and solidarity. Through meaningful voluntary action, we work together to create positive global impact and a more peaceful global community.
